Lankeswari Temple of Sonepur inside the River Mahanadi Near Mahanadi Ghat

The Temple is build in side the River Mahanadi on a Rock Base. You have to rent a Wooden Boat to visit the Temple.The Enchanting Scenario especially in evening is attracting hundreds of visitor every year. The Presiding diety Lankeswari is being worshiping there even if in heavy flood time.
